Maddie Stoddart is a Policy student in the MPA Public and Nonprofit Management & Policy Program at Wagner, planning to graduate in May 2017. She comes to Wagner after several years working as a community organizer, focusing on economic development, political representation, and public health in communities across the world - India, Atlanta, Egypt, Syria, Virginia, Washington DC, and Kyrgyzstan. Public service and community are at the center of her interest in public policy. A returned Peace Corps Volunteer, Maddie is passionate about empowering communities to take active, meaningful roles in public policy. Maddie currently serves as Monitoring and Compliance Analyst for the Mayor's Office of Management and Budget, overseeing New York City's $8.4 billion FEMA Public Assistance portfolio helping New York City recover and rebuild from Superstorm Sandy. She also serves as the Chair of the Wagner Women's Caucus. Maddie graduated in 2010 from Georgia Tech with a BS in International Affairs, focusing on US foreign policy and international development.
