CHECKLIST FOR GRADUATES

  1. Make sure you Apply to graduate via Albert. 
  2. Receive and read your invitation for NYU Wagner Convocation via email. (Wednesday, March 13, 2024)
  3. Complete the Convocation ticket request form for you and your guests to attend NYU Wagner’s Convocation. Deadline: Thursday, March 28, 2024.
  4. Record your name in Albert. From your Albert Student Center go to the personal information section. Click on “Name Recording”. Here are the full instructions. Deadline: Thursday, March 28, 2024.
  5. Order Academic Attire. (Available now through April 5, 2024)
  6. Check your NYU NetID email address for information about NYU’s All-University Commencement. Eligible candidates should have received this email in the beginning of March.
  7. Pick up your NYU Wagner Convocation tickets  - You must pick up your ticket(s) at the NYU Box Office during their regular box office hours by May 14. Bring your NYU ID! 
  8. Pick up Academic Attire with NYU ID at the Eisner and Lubin Auditorium at the Kimmel Center. More details can be found on NYU’s website.

ACADEMIC ATTIRE

Graduates must have academic attire (cap and gown) to participate in Wagner’s Convocation and NYU’s Commencement. You can wear the same attire for both ceremonies. Graduates must order their own graduation attire, which can be done online through Herff Jones. Please see NYU’s Academic Attire page for more details. 

Please do not wear your attire until entering City Center.

PARTICIPATION IN CEREMONIES

Graduating students with a cap and gown do NOT need a ticket to enter New York City Center. All guests must have a Convocation ticket to enter.

NYU WAGNER POST-CONVOCATION RECEPTION

We are pleased to invite the Class of 2024 and their guests to join us after the Convocation ceremony for Wagner’s Convocation Reception at Civic Hall on Thursday, May 16, 6:30–8:30pm. Connect with friends, classmates, faculty, and staff as we toast to graduation and enjoy light hors d'oeuvres. 

Graduates must register themselves and their guests for this special occasion. Please note that outside guests must be accompanied by a Wagner graduate to gain entry to the event. Please register for the Convocation  Reception.
