Alliance for Climate Change and the Environment
Mission
The Alliance for Climate Change and Environment believes that climate change is the existential crisis of our time and that understanding the intersectionality of environmental policy and sustainability management is critically important to the development of public service professionals at NYU-Wagner, regardless of specialization. We believe the climate crisis to not only be an environmental issue, but one that is at the backdrop of all policies including, but not limited to, race, gender, urban planning, class, and health. To that end, we aim to provide a platform for understanding the nuances of emerging environmental policy and advocacy through workshop series, panel events, and actionable community initiatives across NYU and beyond.
Membership
Membership is open to all the NYU and Wagner community and our events are open to those in the general public interested in issues relating to climate and environment. We are always eager to strengthen our relationships with other organizations and individuals that identify with our mission.
