Wagner Refugee Action Council

Refugees are fellow global citizens, deserving of fundamental human rights: safety, equality, dignity, and the right to be heard. The mission of the Wagner Refugee Action Council is to give an outlet to refugee voices and perspectives, create spaces for discussion of refugee-related policy and human rights issues, and commit ourselves to improve refugee experiences and acceptance in the New York City area. We strive to empower a steady stream of public affairs professionals that are educated about refugee-related policy issues, passionate about refugee human rights, and regularly advocate on the behalf of, as well as amplify existing refugee voices in the greater New York City region.
