Internship and Conference Funding
NYU Wagner is committed to developing your skills and networks beyond the classroom.
Funding for Unpaid Internships
The Ellen Schall Experience Fund provides students with professional development and a $7,500 stipend for degree-relevant unpaid summer internships.
The Wasserman Center Internship Grant provides a $1,200 grants during the fall and spring semesters, and $2,000 grants during the summer for students pursuing unpaid internships.
The NYU Democracy Project offers NYU students— both graduate and undergraduate—the opportunity for paid work with organizations that are defending our democracy and fighting voter suppression by advancing voting rights.
The Sustainability Internship Grant offers a limited number of $3,000 awards to students pursuing unpaid and low-paying internships in qualifying industries in the sustainability field.
Conference and Competition Funding
NYU Wagner is committed to developing the skills and networks of our students beyond the classroom and campus setting. To that end, we are pleased to be able to set aside a small pool of Conference and Competition Funding each year to supplement expenses for students to attend select competitions and/or conferences that will further their professional development.
We encourage you to also explore other sources of conference funding at NYU, including the Student Government Assembly Conference Fund and GSAS Student Travel Grant.
