What are some tips or best practices that you would like to share with other Wagner students who attend a conference/case competition?
For future attendees of the APPAM conference, a valuable tip would be to pre-skim the papers of panelists you are particularly interested in, rather than committing to an entire session. This strategy allows you to efficiently navigate through various sessions, ensuring you cover a spectrum of policy topics that align with your interests. Pre-reading not only facilitates seamless transitions between panels but also enhances your familiarity with the content. When panelists present their findings, having a prior understanding enables a more engaged and insightful experience, maximizing the value you derive from each session.
