IMPORTANT:
To be eligible for Capstone, you must complete the Capstone prerequisites prior to starting Capstone. Students will not be registered for Capstone without the prerequisites.
THINGS TO CONSIDER
Begin the process of waiving core courses (if applicable)
It generally takes 20 business days to receive results for waiver requests, so we encourage you to begin the waiver process as early as possible if your fall course selections depend on waivers. In order to receive results in time to make adjustments to your Fall 2012 schedule, you must submit all materials by the August 1st deadline. If you take an August waiver exam, you will have the results in time to make changes to your fall schedule during the first week of classes. For more information on waiving courses.
Review Capstone Prerequisites
Consider the non-credit Math Review
If you need a quantitative refresher, register for the non-credit Math Review (NONCR-GP 906) module offered in August as well as early in the semester. The math skills self-assessment exam will help you determine whether you should register for the Math Review.
Consider the non-credit Writing Workshop
If you feel you need to brush up on your writing skills, consider taking the non-credit Professional Writing (NONCR-GP 907) module which meets during the fall semester. Additional writing resources are available to all Wagner students.
